Senior hire from UK’s largest roadside media owner signals JOLT’s rapid OOH growth
LONDON: JOLT, the UK’s pioneering digital out-of-home (DOOH) and EV charging network, has appointed Sarina Patel as UK General Manager. Sarina joins from Global, where she was Roadside Director managing the largest traditional and digital roadside OOH portfolio across the UK.
In her new role, Sarina will drive JOLT’s commercial partnerships and growth strategy, leading UK operations spanning both EV charging infrastructure and advertising sales as the company scales its roadside DOOH footprint across London and UK cities.
She joins JOLT from Global, bolstering a senior team led by Gino Cettina and David Sadler as advertisers increasingly demand roadside formats that combine premium inventory with measurable engagement.
Sarina Patel, UK General Manager, JOLT, said: “I’m delighted to be leading JOLT at a pivotal moment for the UK EV landscape, as the transition to electric vehicles accelerates and innovative models like ours make charging more accessible. This is an incredibly exciting moment to join and I’m looking forward to helping shape the next stage of the company’s growth.”.
JOLT is uniquely positioned at the intersection of outdoor advertising and EV charging infrastructure with a meaningful role to play in how cities, brands and sustainability come together.
By delivering measurable engagement through infrastructure people actually use, and combining roadside reach with the precision and dwell time of digital, JOLT is reshaping urban media..”
Prior to Global, Sarina held strategic investment roles at Strategy&, part of the PwC network, where she advised on M&A and corporate strategy in the UK Media sector.
“Sarina brings a wealth of experience managing the UK’s largest roadside advertising inventory,” added Doug McNamee, Founder and CEO, JOLT. “She’ll now apply that expertise to a model traditional operators can’t replicate. Our goal is to offer advertisers roadside formats that deliver real results, backed by data, in a way the industry hasn’t seen before.”
JOLT represents a new model for roadside media, combining high-impact DOOH screens with EV charging infrastructure to deliver two audiences in one network: the traditional roadside audience of passing motorists and pedestrians, and EV drivers actively charging during an average 55-minute dwell time.
Engagement continues through the JOLT app, creating a streamlined, best in class experience for both advertisers and drivers. n. Advertising revenue helps bring on-street charging costs closer to home charging for residents without off-street parking while creating shared value for councils, communities and brands.
Powered by advanced audience analytics through its Spark Intelligence platform, JOLT delivers impression-based planning, digital targeting and real-time optimisation for advertisers. The model enables councils to deploy infrastructure at zero cost, generate revenue from day one and expand access to clean charging in their communities.
