JOLT Powers Up Mississauga with New EV Charging Location and Expands Canadian Team

TORONTO, ON – April 2025 – JOLT, a global leader in free, fast, and clean EV charging, has unveiled its newest charging station at 3077 Mavis Road in Mississauga, Ontario. This launch marks a significant step in JOLT’s national rollout and is accompanied by two strategic hires to accelerate growth across Canada.

The new location features a Level 3 DC fast charger equipped with dual digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising screens, positioned in a high-traffic area near Home Depot, Canadian Tire, and Real Canadian Superstore. With approximately 35,000 vehicles passing daily and over 12,400 registered EVs in Mississauga, the site offers convenient access for drivers from surrounding communities like Brampton and Oakville.

Through the JOLT app, EV drivers receive 7 kWh of free daily charging—enough for approximately 40–50 km of range in just 15–20 minutes. This free charging is powered by JOLT’s ad-supported model, which offers brands high-impact visibility via roadside DOOH screens. Advertisers like BelairDirect have already joined the network, with brands such as Home Depot, Starbucks, WestJet, and Live Nation also engaging programmatically.

To support this rapid growth, JOLT Canada has expanded its leadership team:

  • Mark Sebastiano joins as National Account Manager, bringing years of OOH advertising experience from OUTEDGE Media. He’ll focus on growing brand and agency partnerships.
  • Skai Spooner joins as Head of Marketing Canada, reporting to Country Manager Brendan Dillon. Previously at MiQ Digital, she brings deep expertise in programmatic media and adtech innovation.

“The launch in Mississauga marks another milestone as we bring free, fast charging to more Canadians,” said Brendan Dillon, Country Manager, JOLT Canada. “We’re also excited to welcome Skai and Mark—two experienced leaders who will play a key role in our growth and innovation in both EV charging and DOOH advertising.”

JOLT’s expansion in Canada is backed by a $194 million investment from the Canada Infrastructure Bank, helping to deploy 1,500 additional EV charging stations across urban centres nationwide.
