Digital street furniture network JOLT has significantly bolstered its national sales team, with the appointment of two new Group Sales Managers in Sydney.
John Chapman and Emily Changizi join JOLT’s expanding Sydney team as Group Sales Managers, reporting to National Sales Director, Tim Debenham.
Under their new remits, Chapman and Changizi will lead the growth of JOLT’s agency and direct client partnerships across its Australian digital street furniture network, bringing extensive experience in out-of-home, commercial growth and client partnerships to the business.
The appointments further strengthen JOLT’s commercial team as the business continues to expand its national network and build on its offering to advertisers and agency partners.
Chapman comes to JOLT with more than seven years’ experience across out-of-home and digital advertising in both Australia and the UK.
He began his career as a Media Executive at OMD Sydney, working across Sony Pictures and Apple’s brand portfolio, before joining JCDecaux as an Account Manager, looking after the PHD and Hearts and Sciences accounts. During his time at JCDecaux, he delivered Australia’s first electric vehicle airport activation – a media-first campaign for Audi.
In 2023, he relocated to London, joining Global Media as an Airport and International Manager. He was promoted to Senior Airports Manager, where he managed two of the business’ largest client portfolios, while also securing long-term partnerships with EasyJet and Jet2.
At JOLT, Chapman combines his passion for digital out-of-home with his extensive expertise in the automotive category.
Changizi is an award-winning business development manager, with more than 12 years’ marketing and advertising experience in Sydney.
She joins JOLT from REA Group, where she spent five years as Senior Account Partner, leading multi-million dollar agency partnerships across major holding groups and independent agencies.
Changizi has also held senior roles at Multi Channel Network and Big Mobile, and has been recognised as an FY24 All Stars Award winner, a two-time B&T 30 Under 30 finalist, a graduate of the IMAA’s Female Leaders of Tomorrow programme, and holds a Woman in Leadership qualification from the University of Sydney.
JOLT National Sales Director, Tim Debenham, said: “John and Emily bring a wealth of strategic account leadership, strong agency relationships and a deep understanding of commercial growth to JOLT, making them fantastic additions to our growing sales team.
“As JOLT continues to scale its national network, we’re focused on building a team that can unlock the full potential of our unique digital street furniture offering for advertisers and agencies. John and Emily’s appointments strengthen our commercial capability, and position us well for the next stage of JOLT’s growth.
Commenting on his appointment, Chapman said: “I’m thrilled to be joining JOLT at such an exciting time in the business’ growth. JOLT has built a genuinely compelling digital out-of-home proposition through its street furniture network, giving brands the opportunity to connect with audiences in highly relevant, real-world environments.
“This is one of the fastest-growing categories in the market – I’m looking forward to working with the team, building strong relationships with our agency and client partners, and helping showcase the opportunities JOLT can deliver for advertisers across Australia.”
Changizi added: “JOLT’s network offers advertisers a unique combination of scale, technology and real-world audience engagement and I’m excited to bring that proposition to market.
“I’m looking forward to applying my strategic leadership and commercial growth experience to build on JOLT’s strong momentum, deepening our relationships with agency and client partners, and delivering innovative, effective solutions for brands.”
Following its recent US expansion, JOLT is now the world’s largest combined digital out-of-home and EV charging network.
JOLT can now offer advertisers truly global scale, alongside audience-led planning, data-driven insights and campaign optimisation from its Spark Intelligence platform, helping brands connect with audiences across contextually relevant, real-world environments.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
